Many of you have undoubtedly heard of the FIRE movement by now. Financial Independence, Retire Early (FIRE) is a movement dedicated to a program of extreme savings and investment that allows proponents to retire far earlier than traditional budgets and retirement plans would allow. 

Today’s infographic highlights 8 lessons we can all learn from FIRE. You need to have a plan in place and the discipline to follow it. And the idea of balance is key as well. You do want to be able to live your life along the way but be careful about it so retirement is comfortable.

Ultimately what’s important here? The FIRE movement shows a simple perspective of how you must take charge of your finances (life). It’s about sacrifice and balance and responsibility.  That achieving Financial Independence allows you the freedom to do whatever you wish with your time.
